Install Google Chrome to your Amazon Fire Phone

This tutorial will show you how to install Google Chrome browser onto your Amazon Fire Phone. Since Amazon does not offer any Google apps (that means no YouTube, Google Maps, or Gmail), you will need to sideload Google Chrome onto your Fire Phone. Check out our other tutorials if you need to install other Google apps to your Fire phone.

Enable ‘App Installation’

• Go to Settings (Swipe down from the top and click on the gears icon)
• Press ‘Applications & Parental Controls’ and then press ‘Allow non-Amazon app installation’
• Enable ‘App Installation’

Download Google Chrome

• Open ‘Silk Browser’ and download the Google Chrome APK file here: Google Chrome APK file download

Install Google Chrome

• Swipe right from the left side of the screen and go to ‘Downloads’
• Open the downloaded file to install.
