Install Instagram to your Amazon Fire Phone

Learn how to install the popular social photo/video app, Instagram, to your Amazon Fire Phone. Instagram cannot be downloaded in the Amazon Marketplace. You will need to sideload, or manually install, the app to your Fire Phone.

Enable ‘App Installation’

• Go to Settings (Swipe down from the top and click on the gears icon)
• Press ‘Applications & Parental Controls’ and then press ‘Allow non-Amazon app installation’
• Enable ‘App Installation’

Download Instagram

• Open ‘Silk Browser’ and download the Instagram APK file here: Instagram APK file download

Install Instagram

• Swipe right from the left side of the screen and go to ‘Downloads’
• Open the downloaded file to install.
