Install Flash Player to your Amazon Fire Phone
In order to view flash sites, videos, or games you will need to install Adobe Flash Player to your Amazon Fire Phone. Adobe has stopped supporting Flash for mobile devices. Fortunately, we can still sideload, or manually install, the last supported mobile Flash Player to our Fire Phones to browse flash sites and play flash videos and games. Once Flash Player is installed, you will need to run Dolphin Browser to view flash sites since the Silk Browser does not support flash.
Enable ‘App Installation’
- Go to Settings (Swipe down from the top and click on the gears icon)
- Press ‘Applications & Parental Controls’ and then press ‘Allow non-Amazon app installation’
- Enable ‘App Installation’
Download Flash Player & Dolphin Browser
- Open ‘Silk Browser’ and download the Flash Player APK file here: Adobe Flash Player APK file download
- Download the Dolphin Browser APK file as well here: Dolphin Browser APK file download
Install Flash Player & Dolphin Browser
- Swipe right from the left side of the screen and go to ‘Downloads’
- Open the downloaded files to install. You will need to use the Dolphin Browser to view flash sites.
